The Merida Scultura 200 takes Merida’s cutting edge, wind tunnel honed road racing genes and packs them into an affordable package perfect for road touring, fitness training and recreational rides. The lightweight 6061 series aluminium frame features Merida’s aerodynamically optimized NACA Fastback tube profile, a hydroforming process that results in an extremely strong frame, while allowing for wall thickness to be tuned to specific areas. A full Carbon tapered fork and steerer combo, in addition to being lightweight, provide great stiffness to the front end of the bike, delivering precise and confidence-inspiring handling. The reliable Shimano Sora 2x9 Drivetrain is paired with Mechanical Disc brakes for all weather stopping performance, while the 700c wheels are fitted with 25mm Maxxis Pursuer tyres. Disc cooling technology reduces head build up by up to 35%, through CNC-milled cooling fins under the disc brake calipers and all cables are internally routed and clamped under pressure
